Music

At CIS Academy in Erbil, we understand that music is a universal language. We understand that every kid should be introduced to music so we offer a variety of lessons for all ages. Piano, drums, guitar, flute, saxophone, violin and singing are all part of the services offered.

Each student will get 30-45 minutes of one on one time with an instructor educated in the instrument of choice. These lessons can last for months or years while each student learns to improve their skills. Each lesson is tailored to fit each students’ playing level and features all styles.

Music benefits include achieving better grades, improving social skills and developing self discipline. Children who are enrolled in high-quality music education programs score higher on standardized tests, including English and math, compared to students with deficient music education programs. Children with disabilities also succeed better with music lessons as they expand brain development and improve memory skills.
